In a significant development showcasing Egypt's commitment to regional stability, the National Alliance for Civil Development Action dispatched its 12th humanitarian convoy to Gaza on Thursday, following the implementation of recent diplomatic breakthroughs in aid access negotiations.
The convoy, comprising over 200 trucks loaded with essential supplies and 36 ambulances, represents a concrete implementation of the humanitarian provisions outlined in the Sharm El-Sheikh Document, which emerged from recent ceasefire negotiations.

Ambassador Nabila Makram, heading the Alliance's Technical Secretariat, confirmed that this initiative marks just the beginning of a larger humanitarian campaign. The organization has already prepared for the deployment of 100 additional convoys, particularly crucial as humanitarian challenges intensify during the winter season.

The operation demonstrates remarkable coordination among 14 member organizations of the Alliance, with volunteers from various governorates participating in the preparation and loading efforts. This widespread participation underscores the Egyptian youth's dedication to humanitarian causes and national solidarity.
"This convoy sends a clear message to the world about Egyptian youth's loyalty and commitment to humanitarian causes through the National Alliance," stated Ambassador Makram.
