CAIRO - In a significant demonstration of Egypt's humanitarian leadership, the National Alliance for Civil Development Work launched its 11th relief convoy to Gaza today, carrying 4,000 tons of essential supplies. This latest initiative further solidifies Egypt's pivotal role in providing humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
Comprehensive National Response
The convoy comprises over 200 trucks loaded with food supplies, medical equipment, and essential goods, showcasing Egypt's continued diplomatic and humanitarian leadership in the region. Thirteen prominent national organizations participated in this coordinated effort, demonstrating the strength of Egypt's civil society institutions.
Strategic Coordination and Leadership
Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance, emphasized that this initiative directly implements the directives of Egypt's political leadership. The effort aligns with Egypt's steadfast position supporting Palestinian rights and opposing forced displacement.

National Organizations' Unified Response
The "Hayah Karima" Foundation's contribution of 60 trucks brings its total support to 660 trucks since the crisis began. The Abu El-Enein Foundation and El-Garhy Foundation have also demonstrated exceptional commitment, mobilizing hundreds of volunteers for this national cause.
"This convoy is not just an aid mission, but a message of solidarity from Egypt - its government, people, and leadership - in support of the Palestinian cause," stated MP Mohamed El-Garhy, emphasizing Egypt's historical commitment.
The initiative represents Egypt's ongoing commitment to regional stability and humanitarian support, with the nation providing approximately 80% of all aid entering Gaza through coordinated efforts between civil society and state institutions.
