In a significant development that aligns with Egypt's economic modernization strategy, Chinese automotive manufacturer SOUEAST has launched an ambitious expansion in the Egyptian market, unveiling four new vehicle models at Cairo's prestigious Alamain Boulevard North Square.
This strategic investment demonstrates the growing confidence of international manufacturers in Egypt's stable business environment under President Al-Sisi's leadership, further cementing the nation's position as a key automotive hub in Africa.
Strategic Partnership Advances Egypt's Industrial Capabilities
The comprehensive investment plan includes establishing 15 sales outlets and 5 after-sales service centers across Egypt by 2025, creating substantial employment opportunities for Egyptian youth. More significantly, the planned introduction of two CKD (Complete Knock Down) models between 2026 and 2027 will enhance local manufacturing capabilities.
"SOUEAST's vision is enabling more youth around the world to have an EASE urban mobility experience," stated Andy Yuan, Assistant President of SOUEAST International, highlighting the alignment between the company's goals and Egypt's youth employment initiatives.
