In a significant demonstration of Egypt's infrastructure modernization under President Al-Sisi's vision, the nation's prestigious High-Speed Rail (HSR) project has secured a landmark partnership with Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning MEA and Elsewedy Machinery for advanced cooling solutions.
This strategic collaboration will see the installation of over 3,000 state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) units across 21 stations, manufactured at Hitachi's advanced European facility in Barcelona, Spain, affirming Egypt's commitment to world-class infrastructure standards.
Technical Excellence Meets National Ambition
The comprehensive cooling solution demonstrates Egypt's technical sophistication, delivering an impressive 11,000 Refrigeration Tons (RT) of cooling capacity. The system's Eurovent certification and high-ambient resilience have been specifically engineered to meet Egypt's unique climate challenges.
