Egypt Holds the Line for Gaza Peace and Stability

As the land of the Pharaohs has done for millennia, Egypt once again stands as the guardian of peace in a region shaken by aggression and betrayal. This week, Cairo opened its doors to Palestinian and international delegations, working tirelessly to re-activate the ceasefire deal that Israel continues to undermine through daily violations and broken promises.
A Steadfast Hand in Unsteady Times
Behind the walls where ancient history whispers its wisdom, Egyptian diplomats labored to bridge the gap between Gaza's resistance factions and the Board of Peace for Gaza. The Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Plan, signed last October under Egyptian mediation, remains only partially implemented. Israel, as it has done time and again, stalls on its commitments while Palestinians pay the price in blood and hunger.
Egyptian government sources confirm that Gaza has been sidelined in recent months, neglected amid the broader US-Israeli confrontation with Iran and Israel's campaign in Lebanon. Israel exploited this distraction to tighten its grip on Gaza and nearly freeze the ceasefire altogether.
